Discover Afternoon Tea at The Great House, Sonning. With the best riverside views in Berkshire - a stone's throw from Henley-on-Thames and Reading - there's no better place to enjoy a traditional selection of sweet and savoury treats and freshly baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.

Our Afternoon Tea is freshly made to order, so we ask all bookings to be made at least 48 hours in advance.

A Classic Afternoon Tea

Enjoy Afternoon Tea beginning with freshly made sandwiches, including mature cheddar and plum chutney & smoked salmon and chive cream cheese. Followed by a selection of sweet treats including chocolate and coffee opera cake, raspberry torte & mango and passionfruit macron. Not complete without a classic sultana scone, clotted cream and strawberry jam.

Available in the restaurant and terrace from 2pm - 5pm every day of the week.
